Welcome! The MF TI Calculator Page is a fan site devoted to Texas Instruments graphing calculators, as well as the offical distribution site for several assembly language games and programming projects written by me, Don Barnes. The most popular of these is Space Monkey Quest, a side-scrolling run-and-jump adventure for TI-89 and TI-92+.
Created in June 1996, The MF TI Calculator Page was originally hosted on GeoCities. Later, it was hosted by the now defunt Dimension-TI website. On May 26th 2002, the site was reopened under my own domain as a nostalgic reminder of the old school calculator gaming days! :)
The MF TI Calculator Page has been revamped and updated for its 10 year anniversary! Even though I've moved on to other projects in recent years, The MF TI Calculator Page still receives a large amount of traffic from people seeking out great games for their TI calculators. I hope that this site can continue to serve as a reminder of the glory days of calculator gaming. Many thanks to all those who, over the years, took the time to reply with feedback about my games. If it weren't the amount of fun I was having writing them, I might not be a professional programmer today. Thanks!
Don Barnes officially becomes "Old School" - Friday May 5th 2006I stumbled across this poll the other day titled "Favourite Old School TI Programmer?," of which I am one of the available answers. I find it entertaining that after only six years since releasing my last version of Space Monkey Quest, I can already be considered "Old School." :)
And by the way, I have no idea who the kid is claiming to know my brother.
